Pop a bunch of MP3 files on a micro SD card (up to 8GB) and you are ready to listen. I just fit about 16 full length albums on a 2GB card.
You can't always access Spotify, sometimes you need to unplug. This is great if you're going for a run or walk, It weights practically nothing and is about the size of my watch (check the photo I just took for scale).
